The Story Behind
Homme D'Affaire

How it all Began...

At Homme D’Affaire, our story is one of passion, perseverance, and growth. Founded by Djamina Drabo (Right) and Renukh Rampaul (Left) at Baruch College, our brand was born out of a desire to provide high-quality, affordable clothing for students and professionals alike. Inspired by their experiences in the CEO club, where they engaged in hands-on learning and mentorship, they embarked on a journey to start a business. Through ups and downs, from winning a small business grant to hosting their own fashion show, they've embraced the learning curve with resilience.

For Djamina and Renukh, Homme D’Affaire is more than just a clothing brand—it's a testament to the power of trying, failing, and growing. As student-led entrepreneurs, they're on a mission to empower others while continually honing their own skills. At Homme D’Affaire, we're not just fashionistas; we're businesswomen, driven by our vision and fueled by our journey.

If you don't fail you're not learning and if you're not learning you're not growing from it.

We didn't know where to start how to we just knew that we needed to build a team and we learned from there.
